At the end of August and the beginning of September, Jane went on a quick California book tour. She gave three poetry performances in different cities: Rancho Palos Verdes, Benicia, and Davis. She shared from her collections SANCTUARY, MADE IN THE IMAGE, SONGS FROM THE SECRET LIFE (the CD), and MAGICAL POEMS FOR GIRLS.

Much to her delight, she sold out of all the copes of MAGICAL POEMS she carried with her for the tour -- and listeners ordered more!

Jane also joined her friend and fellow poet, Andy Jones on the 90.3 KDVS radio program “Dr. Andy’s Poetry & Technology Hour” on Wednesday, September 2nd. She listened in as Andy interviewed Dr. Mardy, author of Ifferisms, and then was interviewed herself! “DJ” Andy popped her CD in a player, so listeners heard Jane’s poem “Africa” with kalimba prelude, and Jane later read “Lady Herodis Listens to Sir Orfeo Sing” from MAGICAL POEMS FOR GIRLS.
